Shalimar never misses! The flavors are always on point — from the biryani to the butter chicken, everything tastes homemade and full of love. The staff is super friendly and they make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The naan? Soft, warm, and perfect. Prices are reasonable, and the portions definitely leave you satisfied. If you’re craving authentic Pakistani food in a chill spot, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back. OH LAWD!!

Great place for Vegetarian Indian Chinese food, crispy pani puri. Fresh food made to order with great flavors and perfect spice levels. The staff is friendly and provides great service. Best place for families to dine and have fun at reasonable prices.

This place is truly a hidden gem on oak tree road! I was so impressed by everything we had here! The chicken burger and their chicken kabob rolls are SO good! Even the fries are seasoned so perfectly and the chicken lollipops are out of this world! Don’t forget to try their mocktails too! I had an amazing meal and you will too!

I had a great night dinner with my family food was is amazing halal Pakistani dishes the amazing part I love they gave us a complimentary drink when we finished our meal .they are also trying to make their best hopefully cuz The food here is exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and worth savoring. However, the long wait times can be frustrating. If you’re patient, the delicious dishes will make it worthwhile, but plan ahead!

Pakistani restaurant with a big presence on Oak tree Road in Edison. Ample seating area in the main dining room, service was pretty fast and menu was extensive with Pakistani, American, and Desi Chinese offerings. We ordered the chicken chili, chicken malai boti and beef nihari. The nihari was definitely the star of the show, meat was cooked perfectly. Another sleeper hit was the chicken malai boti, the grill flavor was elite. Really good dish for people with spice scaries. Overall : Chicken malai boti 10/10 Beef nihari 8/10 Chicken chili 7/10

Every time I visit, I am never disappointed. The interior decor looks better and updated every year. Although the menu has newer items throughout the years, they have always stayed true to items and recipes from the original menu. I noticed the possibility of an impossible burger on the menu as well. I'll be sure to bring some of my vegan family with me next time.

Shalimar recently renovated their space and now it feels so upscale! The dish presentation was really nice too - I was impressed. I loved everything I had but for feedback maybe the papri chaat could have more flavor and I wasn’t crazy about the wing sauce. Not a big deal. Everything felt clean and fresh, the meat was well cooked and flavorful, the pani puri was nice and crisp - and was unique with nuts! I absolutely loved the dessert and Kashmiri chai. The kheer wasn’t too sweet - exactly how I like it! Overall highly recommend for groups, families, friends, or date night. [disclosure: hosted for social media but my opinions are authentic]

I tried mint margarita, mango madness and blue mist. Perfect for pairing with these bold flavors.
